iPhone

An analysis of the dating site okcupid reveals that iPhone users have twice as much sex than android phone users. And there are also tips for good pictures.

Quite a few comparisons are being done between Apple iPhone devices and their competitors androids, but now a new criterion. Okcupid.com dating site published a series of statistics on the users, which indicates that iPhone users are having twice as much sex than owners of Android phones.

The Site analyzed over 11 million photos uploaded to according to different parameters. It studied 30 year old smart phone users (owners of iPhone, BlackBerry and Android phones). After cross referencing a series of data statistics it created a data base of 9785 people. Analyzing the different data (such as various questions users answer on the site) showed that iPhone users head the list of number of sexual acts they experience. BlackBerry owners follow them, when Android users trail behind.

More interesting data presented by okcupid:

- The type of camera used by the account member on the dating site has great significance. Panasonic cameras, for example, take photographic images which appear more attractive. More sophisticated cameras (for example with DSLR) – also produce more appropriate photographs. Not surprisingly – pictures taken by mobile devices produce the lowest quality images. Using Flash, incidentally, can age your appearance by adding 7 years.

- The best pictures are those in which the user is seen clearly, while his background is blurred.

- Late afternoon into the night are those which generated the best pictures.

“The information suggests strongly that if you are single, you should learn a bit about photography. The technique can either make or break the pictures, and the right decision can get you more dates” sums up the site. “Use a good camera. Chill with the flash. overshadow the background. And take your picture in the afternoon. Then – visit the nearest Apple store. Done.”
