Mercedes S Class

Mercedes reveals the AMG version to its flagship S Class. It is equipped with a new rumbling engine. 571 hp in a diplomatic disguise.

Mercedes launched a new generation to its premium edition of the AMG division for the S series hopscotch. As in previous years, the S series has both the current classic appeal of sports technology and comprehensive German division, including the use of permissive huge hoops, representing“ logos (bi – turbo) on the external and internal walls and a pair of bumpers on both ends. This edition will be offered under the program with the long-wheel version of the S Class and the shorter one.

The change in the S Class AMG, which we mentioned previously, with the launch of its little siblings, is the engine in the forefront. Instead of the outgoing 6.3L unit, Mercedes assimilation a rich 20 hp engine. This core represents a reduced volume of 5.5 L. A bi Turbo charger that produces 571 hp and -92.2 KGM. It is attached to the speed shift gear (MCT) with seven gear transfers and three selective sports steering wheel modes. It accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds and the maximum speed is stopped at 250 mph by an automatic limit.

If you want a little more control, you can remove the performance package by AMG and receive an engine that produces 541 hp and pulls a little more on the way to 100 km / h (4.5 Q). Not surprisingly the basic package includes a less well-equipped cabin and a few components (mainly cosmetic) not included.

The S Class AMG will soon be sold in Europe starting as low as 127 thousand euros, or about 630 thousand NIS before taxes.
