Iyaz, 23 revealed that he’s always enjoyed the show ever since he came across it many years ago. He also stated that he was glad to get the opportunity to duel a song with Cyrus and confessed that she did most of the work on the track.

The musician will be starring as himself on the show and will offer support to Cyrus who will be confronted with a writer’s block issue. Iyaz also stated that he was very happy when he went on the Hannah Montana location and was glad that the cast and crew treated him like one of them. He said he had a lot of fun and will always remember his time on the show.

Iyaz’s song Replay ranked second at some point last year on the Hot 100 and he launched an album titled Iyaz in the beginning of the year. He also stated that his second album is almost complete in an LA studio and only slowed down as a result of his participation on Justin Bierber’s tour.
