Security Breach in Apple’s iTunes

Latest reports on the net saying that accounts in the application store of iTunes are breached, and purchases were made through these accounts worth hundred and thousands of Dollars.

iTunes is hacked. It is happening all over the world – not only in the US shop, where the hackers are buying applications in hundred and thousands of Dollars.




Right at this moment the applications that are ranked in the top 30 in the books category of the Apple Store owned by Thuat Nguyen, and the link to the company leads to a fake address. The books themselves are in Vietnamit. Apple did not respond yet about this story, and it is still not certain what countries were hit by the breach.

The Apple shop allows to by applications in a click of a button, and everything that is required is to use a password. Credit Card information is stored on Apples servers. So, if you are worried about a possible breach to your account, it is worth to try and change your password, also go to your personal information in your iTunes account and delete the Credit Card details, until the Apple will fix the breach.

    Just a reminder nothing is safe on the web. Hopefully Apple will get this fixed right away before real harm is done.
