The latest interactive Smartphone launched on the market by Canadian phone giant RIM is the BlackBerry Torch. The phone comes with a width of 111mm x 62 mm and a girth of 14 mm. the Smartphone is powered by standard keyboard as well as a touch screen.




The touch screen is manufactured with innovative technology that results in high quality pictures at 360 x 480 pixels. Users also get easy access to writing emails and SMS through the standard QWERTY keyboard. The phone is also powered with a visual track pad which makes navigation simple and less battery consuming. The phone also comes with a proximity sensor.

The sixth edition of BlackBerry OS is used to power the BlackBerry Torch and the speed of the phone’s processor is 62 MHz as with other RIM manufactured phones, the Torch connects to the internet using Bluetooth and micro USB. The Torch’s inbuilt memory is 4GB while its Memory cards can be as big as 32 GB.

The Torch’s camera is 5.0 MPs and it works at 2592 x 1900 pixels and utilizes LEO flash, geo-tagging and LED flash. The phone also comes powered with innovative VGA technology, video options, etc.

The phone’s also powered with standard features such as SMS, MMS, email and IM with lots of games in addition. The phone is also powered with MP3/MP4 player which can play many music formats. Users can also have access satellite navigation with the A-GPS support.

The Torch is a functional Smartphone with top of the range features that provide entertainment as well as many features required of a modern day Smartphone.
